Let's talk about VIDEO EDITING and videos in general

Just had an idea about what you can do with transparent crop (or masks) and key frames…

Guys, DON’T update your Video DownloadHelper plug-in. The new version totally messes up the downloadable video recognition for VHTV. Luckily via mozilla.org I was able to go back to Version 9.5.0.2

Thanks a lot for the warning. What exactly is the problem with it?

When you are watching a stream and open the menu it doesn’t show one video to download but a list of 40 second clips, and when you click one of those it may download only 40 seconds or a continuous stream. It seems to work if you click the uppermost fast enough, but I didn’t have the nerve to explore further, so I quickly looked if I could still get older versions and deleted the plug-in to install the old.

Ah it recognizes the chunks only and does not put them together to a complete video. I declined Firefox permission to update. So everything good for now. Thanks again.

I am still on version 8.0.0.6, as this was the last version that did not display how long the plugin was recording, but rather the playtime of the recorded video.

I did not know that it knew the runtime back then. Maybe I’ll check out if that version is still available. It sucks when you stop a recording half a minute before the cumshot…

Well, that’s annoying. Thanks for the information. I checked immediately, but I was still on version 9.5.0.2, even though automatic updates were enabled. Of course, I disabled that immediately.

White Balance

sixty-nizik

When I edit these little animations I often play around with gamma and saturation, but maybe I should pay more attention to white balance. When I recently ordered a little custom performance from Verh and Nizik, I noticed quite a difference in white balance between their ring light camera and our VHTV cams. So I shifted the webp below a lttle bit more into warmer light. It does have a bit of a sepia look, but overall I like it better tnat way. I think the original above looks a bit sterile in comparison.

We have filmed your custom on our webcam Insta360 link2 and there is 2700-2800k lighttemperature as i remember. Also we use there HDR and that’s why picture is more bright and juicy. But even iphone12 pro make better quality

U can add more color intense to avoid sepia as i think

Good idea for that, but you can do better
Which tool do you use? Is there a ‘transform perspective’ option to use?
Than you should zoom in and place the corners inside the frame of the TV screen.

This is what I use.

Ah…ok. That might not provide really usable functionality.

In Shotcut it’s the filter “corner pin” which is quite self explanatory, just pin the four corners of the video where you want to have them.

I’ve done in some posted vids

Same name in Filmora.
