Getting back to this suggestion straight from other topic. Yes, this makes sense. Maybe there was time needed to show the value of this suggestion seeing how fast the forum grew over past month. Now we have a category for topics which are out of the scope of apartments discussions, and I actually found a solution on how to apply your suggestions, I’ll make some adjustments next week so that we won’t see replies from “All the other stuff” in the Latest feed. This is not an ideal solution, though.
Then there is the other one which involves getting rid of the off topic threads all together and only leave a feedback, suggestions, and technical issues topics alive from the apt threads. I know this will essentially k__l myself here, but I’m not really the horrible person I’m made out to me. Sometimes I’m misguided and yes vengeful, but I don’t hate anyone and I don’t mean to ruin this experience out of some twisted scheme. It’s a lie.
No need to rush with changes affecting everyone’s experience. We’ll see how it goes and will make adjustments accordingly.

There is a page for FAQ & Guidelines, which is being updated from time to time as forum grows. The guidelines may be not up-to-date as we’re shaping them based on discussions with you & other forum members. As for Forum Tips & Tricks, there’s a topic for that in development, I’d like to fill it with some valuable info before showing to everybody.
Well i expect many of us have sussed out most by now either by trial and error or by asking members etc etc. But no doubt there are always things to learn especially new developments. Now that wouldn’t be a bad idea perhaps a topic called New Developments. Also in the message text editing menu’s there are no functions for changing the colour of text and size etc.

Hi, can this be done as an option in preferencies? So I can turn if off and keep seeing everything in the Latest like it is right now? If I dislike some thread I can allway mute it no matter the category it’s in.
The upcoming changes will not have user-level settings, and, at I said, we will see how it affects user experience via analytics. If the demand for off-topic visibility will be high enough, we may consider developing a custom solution both for us and anybody using the same forum software outside of VHTV.
File upload limits were significantly raised today, allowing everyone sharing VHTVs video & custom GIF content within it. The upload limit is 100MB, which should be enough for short videos. Please avoid uploading big videos, we have VHTV Archives for that. Also, as before, links to VHTV’s media uploaded to external resources will be deleted.
In addition, we made changes to All the other stuff - Voyeur House TV Forum category. Posts from this category will not appear in Latest feed. This solution is far from ideal and I’ll be thinking on how to improve the experience.

Don’t really understand why this group of topics needs to be hidden to that extent after all we are all adults, or many profess to be. If anyone is not interested in hearing all the moans and groans or whatever they are not f___ed to read it and it is good to know of any recent activity.so one can read it if they so wish after all many topics are incororated in this main heading.
Doing this is slowly going down the slippery slope of censorship surely.

Because this site belongs to VHTV too. They also gave the permission for the CamCaps website. So all good you won’t get in any trouble here.
