I don’t think participation in VHTV can be seen as a standard job. I’d compare it more to filming and selling homemade porn.
I think the primary reason why most of the apartments in VHTV are located in Russia, and perhaps in other post-Soviet countries as well, is cost.
I guess people in the US would not be willing to participate for the same amount of money that people in Russia get
Nathaniel hiii there is no realm 53 - all the 'realms ’ or apartments are shown either in pictures or names down the left side. Just click on the one you want.
Ti see the numbers and tenants of the flats click on Participants ( top middle of this page) which gives you a list of the realms thier tenants ( with pictures and also pictures of the likely guests.
During my trainingthe breaking of ribs was discussed…the tutor suggested that if the patient has no pulse he is dead , if you resucitate by means of CPR and break a few ribs that is preferable to death.
Well it certainly seems that safety is not a priority in these apartments.
What is more worrying is to hear that VH have no idea what a panic button is for!!!
They could make it safer if everyone lived on the ground floor and ban all sharp objects, that would be a start
He lives in Canada.
Those apartments are like porn studios. Actors can sue the studio for accidents.
There was an apartment in Florida few years ago but VHTV shut it down after few months. But it was fun to be able to understand the languqge
I guess it depends on the type of accident. If there is a fire due to a technical fault in the wiring, then maybe the site operator is liable if they are the owner of the apartment.
But if a participant overdoses on d__gs or a_____l, I don’t see how it’s the VHTV operator’s fault.
@jabbath1987 Have no idea why this topic popped up on my notifications but just had a read through many of the posts.
May i ask if anything has been done re the d__g problem or has it just been ignored and swept under the carpet for expediency? My guess is probably nothing at all and just been forgotten about or filed in the don’t care section.
One of my original suggestions was to eliminate all blind spots and area’s but that has obviously been ignored.
Having said that i do note nearly all toilets are now in full view without the old black boxes but no doubt this has been done just to satisfy the peeing pervs and has got nothing to do with any d__g problem.
Other hidden area’s have again just been ignored despite complaints from many members but yet again has been ignored.
Overall not a particulary good response from VHTV who just seem content with raking in the subs and not accepting any responsibilty for any of the participants.
You should understand cameras do not solve problems like these. Nothing will prevent d__g addict to do d__gs outside of the project. You may never know until it’s too late, that’s how d__gs work.
We have done extensive enf___ement of any usage tracking. We listen to our community, and continue improving the standards of safety for all. This includes better communication to managers in regards to filtering out addicts and making sure nobody goes negative route.
Well thankfully nothing like that happened again. However there is no 100% safety. I agree to the statement VHTV did. However I still think it would not hurt if participants had basic knowledge in first aid. If taken a course this could be rewarded by manager or VHTV itself for example. First aid safes life. That is a fact.
Thanks for the reply, i was begining to think i was being ignored.
At least VHTV also had the decency to reply which is appreciated.
I would have thought though at the very least perhaps a phone line could have been installed so that in the event of any other problem immediate help could be summoned.
Having said that they all have their personel phones so perhaps at the very least a notice could be put up in all apartments with an emergency number shown so they could contact help immediately as speed of response is vital in case of another incident.
This would not cost any money apart from the printing of the notice/sign.
I’m sure everyone knows the phone number of the emergency services for whichever country they come from, that’s common knowledge
One would think so, just a shame it wasn’t used in this past serious incident.
About that number I believe calling an ambulance is the faster way as this hotline can’t do anything different than calling an ambulance.
They don’t always arrive on time unfortunately
Yes a very good idea but whatever is put up you can only rely on the the intelligence and responsibility of the apartments occupants which obviously failed Sergio greatly. sad to say.
Well one can only do so much but at least it would have been something.
That is why my idea with basic knowledge in first aid.
