Personally only racist comments should be flagged, everything else should be free game
kinda guessed my answer to a comment and the following replies would be pushed away into the cleaning cupboard , lol gotta keep @jabbath1987 busy , but on a serious note can i ask a very sincere question , how come this forum asnt grown at the same rate as the m____r site which as more than doub__d in appartments , yet this forum just seems to be all the same old members participating , you would think after almost 2 years this forum would be buzzing , but alas thats not whats happening ,just the same few members and occasionally a new member will comment . my opinion on this is not because of the anger or disruption but because certain old members believe they are the creme of the crop and hold some sort of power which goes along way in discouraging other more sensitive members from becomming involved ,

About your question: There are a few members here who are regulars and are around very often. And then we have members who come and go. New ones come and old ones go. I do not see a problem.

And almost every community is built this way. Lots of readers, dozens of regular posters, and people who come and go. It’s essential structure of any forum/chat

im not so niave not to understand this . but you have to admit there are certain ways of encouraging more involvement and by banning someone because they speak there mind in an adult only forum for being to combatative is pretty lame as long as there was no racial slurs used or abusive words against another member then a verbal argument should be condoned , and i dont think i have ever seen that person use racial or abusive text in any of his comments maybe im wrong , hope im not . then he should be reinstated as he provides a great service for members of this forum also he does a job that really should be down to the moments operators . just saying!! im not being abusive , its so easy to flag someone you have taken a disliking too . theres certain members on here who i would flag all the time if i was that c___dish , i dont think the flagging option is run well enough to be fair and just
I am not the one to say who will be banned or not. Like you I do not know the circumstances of the ban so I can’t say it was right or wrong. I have faith in the admins here to do the right thing.
This forum has certain rules everybody can read and must follow. If I see a post violating this rules I will flag it.

ToreyK was banned not for flags but for stalking a member in private chat with offenses without even a reason. I don’t think it helps encouraging more involvement 
seriously you did say PRIVATE CHAT! isnt that supposed to be what it says also isnt there an option to ignore /mute members .? if thats the genuine reason then perhaps user options need to be refreshed so everyone is aware of there options ?
It is private but there is no exception from the rules there. Why should I accept if anybody insults me in private chat?
What do you mean? What options you mean? People should already know if they v_____e the forum rules there will be consequences.
have you heard off self management if i come across a member who i think is detrimental to my welfare on this site i put them on ignore or mute , not that i have had to yet , we are all over 18 and to be on an adult website your going to get petty quarrels but reporting to an admin is a sign of lack of self esteem . like i said this is just my opinion so dont take ane offence as none is meant

You are correct there is, that option is very poor on the main forum as it doesn’t really work, there is also an option to block private messages, you can block all messages from everyone or block from certain individuals and that option actually does work as it should
yes i know about these options but it seems some dont .if members where aware of these options then any petty quarrels could be nipped in the bud before things esculate as to where an admin as to become involved , its not exactly rocket science is it m8 .but you would think so by some members inability to actually read the user options before becoming activily involved in a chat forum ?

perhaps you misunderstood or perhaps ive worded my comment wrong , the point i was trying to get across is we are in an adult forum and at times you will get some adult being c___dish ,and if members where to use the chat options available to them then there wouldnt be any problems
sometimes i think @jabbath1987 is a proper tit and would love to put him on mute , but thats a whole new subject ,only joking gotta love his imput
The answer is simple. It doesn’t matter at all how much input the user provides in terms of content or valuable information. The moment any user crosses the line of civilized discussion there will be sanctions applied towards them. Even the most active members can be banned. There are more and more users coming to the forum and VHTV in terms of subscribers and active readers (I suggest to not rely to public stats of overall traffic, no matter how impressive/not it may appear to you, as it barely matters compared to internal metrics we have regarding subscriptions and involvement), and I would personally much prefer to get rid of bullying and others factors which may make the project not appealing (read scarying) to newcoming users. If we need to block/get rid of 100 most active users generating negative mood to be able to welcome thousands more readers and posters to the active and healthy community, that would be the right choice to make.

Yes, this one person can mute a___er but does it make sense since he will just go on with his behaviour with other users? In context of “we need to encourage new members to get involved” it’s not really helpful too. I don’t see any reason to let anyone stalk and a___e others just because they are adults.
