One of the most interesting things with what happened between Senna and Mansell. Was after the Monaco GP in 1992. Mansell actually fainted off for a minute or two after crossing the finish line.

That happened last year, or the year before at one of the desert tracks. Where it was so hot. Drivers were passing out, or throwing up on their helmet.

Looks like the races in the Middle East could be back on. At least the amount of money coming from there, is now having a bigger influence, than we originally thought.

I know, on both counts.
If it wasn’t for the money, that F1 could lose due to the current situation approx £100m+. Then they would’ve been cancelled and forgotten about until next season.
But as they say ‘Money Talks’
while there is no race this weekend, the drivers can do some other things, Lewis was at the Fiorano circuit for a wet test of the 2027 Pirelli tyres last week
Fernando was on Paul Ricard testing the Valkery Aston Martin
McLaren and Mercedes were testing on the Nürburgring with the 2026 cars and the tyres of next year
and while they were there Norris and Piastri drove the Nordschleife
And Max Verstappen will drive this weekend again on the Norschleife for the 24 H Qualifiers

Just read, that the Nurburgring, is still claiming lives as there was a 7 car pile up and a driver killed. And Max got a 3 grid penalty during the quali session
