One of the most interesting things with what happened between Senna and Mansell. Was after the Monaco GP in 1992. Mansell actually fainted off for a minute or two after crossing the finish line. ![]()
That happened last year, or the year before at one of the desert tracks. Where it was so hot. Drivers were passing out, or throwing up on their helmet.
Even Mansell, isn’t a great fan of the New Regs:
Looks like the races in the Middle East could be back on. At least the amount of money coming from there, is now having a bigger influence, than we originally thought.
pure speculation..
let’s just wait and see how things develop, that war that the idiot started there is far from over!
and as long as this is the official calender they will stick to that
I know, on both counts.
If it wasn’t for the money, that F1 could lose due to the current situation approx £100m+. Then they would’ve been cancelled and forgotten about until next season.
But as they say ‘Money Talks’
while there is no race this weekend, the drivers can do some other things, Lewis was at the Fiorano circuit for a wet test of the 2027 Pirelli tyres last week
Fernando was on Paul Ricard testing the Valkery Aston Martin
McLaren and Mercedes were testing on the Nürburgring with the 2026 cars and the tyres of next year
and while they were there Norris and Piastri drove the Nordschleife
And Max Verstappen will drive this weekend again on the Norschleife for the 24 H Qualifiers
Interview with the CEO of Formula1 Stefano Domenicali
I am not much into rumours if they are not confirmed yet, but i read on different sites that Hannah Schmitz and Ferrari are close to a contract, so finally some real strategy in Italy?
Bernd Mayländer about driving in the safetycar

Just read, that the Nurburgring, is still claiming lives as there was a 7 car pile up and a driver killed. And Max got a 3 grid penalty during the quali session
Had a work colleague once, and that was one of her dreams, to drive the safety car ![]()
Some rule changes ahead of Miami
Just read that via the Guardian Newspaper, lets hope it works, and we can get back to proper racing as well as qualifying
Here’s a clip from when Schumacher was driving for Ferrari, but just listen to the power of the engine.
Formula E is building a new car that acellerates 30% faster than modern F1 cars
0-200 in 4.4 seconds
335 km/h top speed
Top speed this year in China was 354 km/h in F1
F1 cars are still faster over a complete lap thanks to faster driving in corners, but i wonder who has more fun?
A short clip of how F1 cockpits have changed since the start of the Formula. Imagine Lando or Oscar, driving one of those.
