Hopefully, that should improve qualifying. Let’s hope they decide to keep it for the race & the rest of the season.

So another front row lockout for the Merc’s. Have they found their mojo again, and leaving everyone in their wheel tracks.

Stroll is dead last. What is he doing nowadays?

Alonso’s just one place ahead of him. The problem is, Honda still can’t fix the bone shaker called the engine.

It’s still causing massive vibrations throughout the chassis & even causing the drivers to lose some feeling in their fingers and feet, which Alonso commented about in China, after he retired the car.

So much for the new regs, apparently Lando has already started to run of spare parts, namely the battery pack. Even though it’s new tech as such, they’re still limited to 3 battery packs for the season.

It’s beginning to look his rein as WDC will be over by the end of this season.

There is a lot of struggle by the looks of things with these new rules. Adapting and adjusting to it. None of the participants seems to like them that much. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

One thing is to be smart enough to trick others. Another thing is to be so smart that you are tricking yourself. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I was watching FP1 & FP2 clips on Youtube, and they were sliding all over place, especially at Spoons curve & the Esses.

So the lighter cars are also having as adverse effect. As they’re not pushing the cars down onto the track, to improve grip.

He may have been lapped, but at least Alonso got through the race to see the flag, saw a photo of Bearman’s crash at Spoons curve.

I read a few headlines both in norwegian and internationally. And those gave the impression that the Mercs almost lapped the whole field. Not exactly true. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m hoping that this unexpected 5 week break. Everyone gets around the table, and puts the racing back into F1, and not turn it into a death trap, with these silly ideas of slowing down at corners to recharge the batteries for a power boost along the straight.

Bearman was lucky with just a cut knee, but that could be someone’s life, especially at Spa which is the fastest track on the calendar.

Back to the basic drawing board. And get the grips with the basic grip. So they don`t slide, squeeze and glide around the track so much. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

The slipping and sliding could be fixed. Put some ballast in the car, to make the car heavier, because 20KG’s lighter is way to light especially on the low grip circuits.
