It’s all about how they would do it. If Morocco were to not only beat France, but actually dominate them and knock them out convincingly, you’d probably have to fear Morocco even more than France. But I just don’t see that happening, even though Morocco are undoubtedly a very strong side.

That’s a simplistic analysis. There are many ways to beat a better team without necessarily playing better. You just need a solid defense, to capitalize on the chances you get, or simply to win on penalties. I’m not rooting for Morocco because I’m afraid of France; I’m rooting for Morocco because I think they have more grit, even if France has better players.

This topic used to be fun. Because it was all about the World Cup. We were fair and just made predictions.
And maybe discussed one thing or another.
But it’s turned more and more into a mudslinging match here. That’s my opinion.
Guys, it’s just soccer…! And in the end, the last team standing in the tournament will be the world champion. No matter who it is. And the nation that made it will then be the deserving new—or maybe the old—champion.
It can be that simple.

fuk me ! seems you dont understand banter . i honestly thought you was different to the ussuall cry babies we get here in the forum , im 75 years old . i was at wembley when england won the world cup back in 1966 and sinse then every 4 years i have had to listen to banter from many of my foriegn friends and collegues and ive always taken it as just that . during the football world cup loyalties run strong and words are said to infuriate the oppsition , ie Germans -argiies frenchies etc i was going to say Italians but they missed the bus , but rest assured its all friendly banter , i am sorry if you have took offence to my banter after al it was saaid in the best possible taste and i have not insulted anyone in this topic on there beliefs , i may off spoke against there idols etc and that again was just banter , remind me to buy you a once the world cup is over and we can rekindle our friendship untll then COME ON ENGLAND !!
