No wonder they are so painful! :frowning:

That was my exact thought the first time I saw that picture. And, that being the microscopic view of a kidney stone, the wind turbine picture brought to mind a gigantic version of the same thing.

Also interesting, at least to me, I post pictures in these topics from oldest to newest, with a few exceptions. It’s interesting that these two pictures landed side by side in my folder.

We all gotta go some day, and when my time comes, it might as well be like this.

I will say just bravo and very good. There are far worse things to devote ones own time to than exactly that. :heart_on_fire: :fire:

Yep, it gets him up and about, and he looks happy :hugs:

As far as I can understand he is a former taxi driver. Perfect transition from that to this kind of gaming activity. :hugs:

The best thing here is that it gives this guy just a little something to look forward to. I can hardly imagine how important that is at his age.

Very important regardless of what ever kind of condition a human being is in. Most definitely. :hugs: :fire:

This plant, the Raimondi Cove, is among the strangest and rarest on the planet. It grows at altitudes above 3,800 m (12,500 ft) and can reach heights up to 12 meters (36 ft).

Remarkably, it takes up to 100 years to reach maturity. It blooms only once in its lifetime, and this bloom lasts for as long as an entire year, which is longer than the blooming period of any other known plant.

After blooming, it spreads its seeds and then uniquely dies by self-combustion. This extraordinary plant is found on the plateaus of Peru and Bolivia.

The remarkable 17th-century optical illusion of Florence Cathedral’s marble tiles. When seen from above, the intricate geometry creates the illusion of a giant abyss that people might stumble into.

Imagine a shark with teeth the size of this!

This is a megalodon tooth that was found in Chile’s Atacama desert. This shark by the way… would have been about 50 ft (16m) long!

The megalodon (Carcharocles megalodon) was a prehistoric shark that existed approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago during the Cenozoic Era. Renowned as one of the largest predators to have ever roamed the oceans, the megalodon dwarfed even the great white shark in size.

Estimates suggest that megalodons could reach lengths of up to 82 feet (25 meters) or more. These colossal creatures were characterized by their massive teeth, much like the one found in Chile.
