That’s remarkable! I wonder what the story is for that one. If I am seeing it correctly, that looks like purple fire which would suggest that somehow, Potassium is involved. I wonder if that is the case though.

I’d say it’s just how it was photographed. Potassium in a tree or forest fires is not known to me.

Potassium burns with a purple (technically lilac) flame and is found as a naturally occuring mineral, to some degree, in pretty well all living things so it’s perfectly possible, albeit not something I have ever seen before in a tree…well not the flame aspect of the picture anyway.
