The Velvet Underground - I’m Waiting For My Man (live 1969)
Good videos of The Velvet Underground playing live are very rare, so this is not a video capturing the band live!
Still it is an interesting video, very well made up from some 8 & 16 mm footage of the band live, together with audio from a live performance recorded four days later.
Velvet drummer Maureen “Mo” Tucker was one of the very first female drummers to gain any attention. Look at her banging away at her drums towards the end of the song! By the way, today is her birthday, she is turning 82. Happy Birthday to Maureen Tucker

I think I know most of them but not all:
I start at the top left and go right and down:
Elvis, Freddie, Michael, Whitney, Prince, David Bowie?
John Lennon, Frank Zappa?, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin?
Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers?, No idea, Bob Marley
James Brown, George Michael
Harry Belafonte?, Dolly, No idea.
Could that be Chris Cornell down on the bottom right?

Not too shabby for a young one, but here’s the correct list:
Elvis, Freddie, Michael, Whitney, Prince, Bowie
Lennon, George Harrison (Beatles), Tina, Aretha
Sinatra, Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, Tom Petty, Marley
James Brown, George Michael
B.B. King, Dolly, Chris Cornell (Soundgarden)

Damn, yet another one. Allow me to add a link to the post I did on Tim Curry’s birthday last year.
Tim Curry was a good singer! Still have the LP’s, I guess it’s time for a relisten.

That’s too bad. I really like the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There is a very worthwile documentary about it that you may want to check out.

Fun Fact: Director Marty Callner initially cast Liv Tyler without realizing she was the biological daughter of Steven Tyler.
