From March 5 to March 11, the platform will run the Donation Race - a donation event between Realms. During this period, all donations sent to Realms will be counted.
At the end of the event, the three Realms with the highest total donations will become the winners.
How the event works
All confirmed donations received by Realms during the event are included in the total. The Realms that collect the highest total donations during this period will win.
Often the final result is decided not only by big donations,
but also by the overall support of the community.
Event period
Donations sent from March 5 to March 11 (inclusive) are counted.
Only confirmed transactions during this period will be included.
Bonus for donors - Biggest donation
The user who makes the largest single donation during the event will receive: A personal video message from the Realm they supported.
If two donations have the same amount, the earlier transaction wins.
Counting rules
• only confirmed donations are counted
• canceled or unconfirmed transactions are excluded
• final results are determined based on system data after the event ends
The three Realms with the highest total donations will be announced as winners after March 11.
This will lead to the participants making posters and papers asking for donations which makes the site look not real anymore.
The site will also earn a percentage from each donation. I do not say this is wrong but it can make the impression earning more money is the whole point of the contest.
I won’t spoil anybodies fun here. This is my only remark on that and I think I will just not participate in that contest and will only post some nice screenshots or videos.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
The idea of the event is simply to add a bit of fun for a few days. Participation is completely optional for both Realms and users.
No one is expected to actively promote donations or change the usual atmosphere of the site.
It’ll be interesting to watch whether this contest will be able to create the same enthusiam from the community as previous ones. I should buy some popcorn.
The managers collect a share, too, don’t they? Maybe they’ll come up with fresh, new, self-degrading things for the participants to do, in order to make it rain.
Will you, together with the results, also publish the amounts of the top donations? Some self-aggrandizing machos may want to display their financial potency. Some poor, love-sick simps may donate more than they can afford. Maybe you should have announced this earlier in advance. How long does it take to sell a kidney, anyway?
Also, using Grossy for the contest banner clearly gives her an unfair advantage. Other participants might sue you.
What I am curious about, why is the 8 of March highlighted in the poster?
Its the international women day.
My impression looking at the poster, where some sort of charity towards women problem world wide. But since it not so.
Why is 8 of March highlighted?
As for the coins, not sure how the realm/participants know how much or when they receive them. But if they not getting quick and rapid update. There is not much they can do from there end. For example, if they where notified about 100 coin donation, in a few minutes they could have a “donation menu”, 100 coins = change into a costume.
Like most of the contest here, I do not participate in
This site stopped looking “real” many years ago. With all the cam pussy posing and tenants already taking requests/following suggestions from people on this forum, donations are just the final step to finally admit VH is just a cam site.
This is going to be rather ugly opinion and viewpoint.
To show off international women days, lets go backward in time and throw coins at girls that relay on there body and sexual appearance to make money. Not like that option have existed for a long time..
