VHTV and the Chamber of Chatters

Same here. Basically, unwatchable at the moment

Bet they will tell you to check your internet connection since itā€™s not global issue

A long time ago, whenever VHTV wasnā€™t running smoothly, deleting cookies and restarting the browser did the trick for me. Iā€™ve since set my browser to delete cookies every time I quit it. But I think those problems were still on the old version of the main site, so this probably wonā€™t solve your problems.

I have carried out a connection test (speed test). Without any problems. My TV streaming via WLAN also runs very smoothly.
Now Iā€™m going to delete the old cookies and then weā€™ll see.

Just done the same on mine. My connection is good. Following your lead with the cookies now

I think the cookies were a good idea! Seems to be fixed.
But before I send you flowers, dear @Julio137347, Iā€™ll wait a moment.
Thanks for the tip anyway :hugs:  :+1:

@jabbath1987 , was it you who said they use Videoproc? If so, did you buy a license? If you did, is it an annual license, or a lifetime license?

Yes and I have a lifetime license

Never mind, I was going to get you a deal on a lifetime license.

If anyone else is interested, hereā€™s the link. Itā€™s good for 4 days and 15 hours.

Thanks for thinking about me :hugs:

Is there a better topic to put this in where more people might see it?

Maybe in the topic about video editing?

Just a curiosity question. I was in the Wiki yesterday and I just happened to notice that you have the same line, basically, in the template at the bottom of the Wiki. Iā€™m sure thereā€™s a good reason for it, Iā€™m just curious why.

Also, I wonder if it might be possible to tell the difference between an MO user and a regular user who enters the Wiki? If so, would it be possible to drop the MO users at the template like you currently do for everyone, and drop the regular users at the top of the Wiki?

Over the years, the Wiki has accumulated so much data, mostly due to the pictures, that when you click on the button to go to the top of the Wiki, it takes FOREVER for it to get there. Just a thought.

Yes we created that template to make it easier to create new entries. Especially for new MOs

This is a great idea but the Discourse software does not support that unfortunately

Oh. For me itā€™s really fast.

I realize this, but that wasnā€™t my question. I was wondering why you put the same line in the template twice. See the arrows on the screenshot I posted.

That is unfortunate.

There are lots of things that are really fast on my device, too, but waiting for the system to scroll to the top of the Wiki, through all that massive amount of accumulated data, takes forever.

And it only occurs when Iā€™m in the Wiki. I donā€™t have any trouble with other topics, or ā€œtopicsā€ that arenā€™t topics, like the Wiki. I also have no problem on the streaming site, the forum, or even other forums.

It only happens in the Wiki due to the massive amount of data in that database.

Oh in fact itā€™s two different things. Check out the entry from realm3 and you will see

Okay, Iā€™ve seen realm 3, and I still have the same question. Her name is just there hanging out underneath the participants names with no identification or description as to why itā€™s listed there or who she is.

Whereas, a few lines later, sheā€™s listed again, and this time sheā€™s named as a permanent guest. Now, that makes sense. Not so much the first listing of her name.

Of course, you can do it any way you want. Iā€™m just trying to understand.
