Speed of Cam and/or time changes

I was not talking about the live stream… :joy:

С Новым Годом, и с наступающим Рождеством. Очень красиво. Это с одного из любимейших мест, там где расположен этот массив. Там еще есть другие достопримечательности которые мне тоже очень нравятся.

i have the same problem not so much changing the cams but more scrolling thru time line and changing cam in time line i have done a few speed test etc on my line and laptop its very fast but stil loading problems well ppl have a good one

Well in Australia it has been bad for weeks. Done all the tests. Every other sites loads perfectly. I still believe it is because of the number of viewers at any one time. If I was a new visitor viewing this site I would not spend the money.

Maybe not everybody creates tickes for it, but I have the same experience with the timeline, switching to another time moment gives a blach screen for a moment upto some seconds sometimes.

My ISP is ok, My download is 980 Mbps and upstream 50 Mbps, doing speedtests at the moment the timeline gives black screens learns me the downstream is still about 980 Mbps (I have a gigabit connection). So it is definately not at my ISP or home network.

Also testing on 2 laptops, one iPad and a desktop PC, with severall browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera) don’t make any difference.

Judging by this results, it must be at your servers or channels, especially when more visitors of the site (using different ISP’s and hardware/software combinations) complain about the same experience: slow timeline giving black images for upto almost 2 seconds almost every timeswitch maded.

Sometimes it is working fine, like at this moment the delay isn’t there, but there are also moments it is annoying.

A 2 second delay when switching streams is perfectly normal, it’s not a problem, it happens - in order for the first frames of the video to start being displayed, your browser has to first load the playlist and then still load the first chunk of video, which is 4 seconds long and about 1 megabyte in size. This all MAY take 2 seconds, given how the internet works. If after that the video streams smoothly, with no freezes or lags, there’s nothing to fix.

If I would face 1 or seconds as problem. I would not ask. I am talking about 5 to 10 seconds.

Please don’t ever write such a thing. No human being is capable of thoughtfully reviewing EVERY sites on the internet. Just as an experiment, open some site from Ecuador, or India. I’m not saying right now that it’s okay to keep the level of site like sites from Ecuador. I just want to show that there is an error in your reasoning.
Regarding your connection to our site - have you done the tests - can you tell me the ticket number and I’ll take a closer look? Basically, there is some problem with Australia. To understand it, we can refer to the website of one of the major providers providing us with traffic delivery services.

This is the cost of the servers we use in Europe or Canada.

And this is the cost of renting the same server with the same traffic characteristics in Australia.

Given the fact that we have very few subscribers from Australia, at the moment renting a dedicated server in Australia for delivery to Australians is a bit unprofitable. But we are working in this direction, so I am extremely interested in the results of your tests.

This is a real problem. And it has nothing to do with the performance of our servers. Do you have any tests? I want to take a look while our admins are on vacation.

my internet connection is top. 1Mbit/s. no problems with any other webs

Glad to hear it, but that doesn’t answer my question.

this is my test, whenever I do a test it comes back with 990 or 1010 .So what

It’s not a test, it’s just nonsense. These are abstract numbers. We need tests that will show the speed of connection to quite specific, our servers. Your figures are of no use, sorry. If you do not want to cooperate, do not write more about the problems.

ok. so how o perform the test?

All the necessary tests should have been written to you in the helpdesk. If you wrote there - you should have a ticket number - give it to me. If you did not write (I think I remember that you did, but maybe not) - you need to write.

Okay, thank you for this clear and understandable answer.
The last weeks it was becoming annoying where before there was no remarkable delay.
But now you declared a bit of the way the items functioning, I can understand the cause of the sometimes delaying and sometimes not.
For me case closed.

i did and last advise was to contact my ISP.

Can I finally get a ticket number? I personally communicated with the helpdesk yesterday and instructed them to do a full investigation. So I doubt that’s the last answer.
