I suspect it is to stop the glass shattering due to blast from missiles/bombs etc. It is absolutely shocking that they are in this position - my heart goes out to them. Keep safe @Sophia_Elon.

There is a curfew in their city. So best they can do is stay home and safe.

Sophia: We all are home now, we have food, a_____l:woozy_face:
, water, and a place to stay. Also we are in love, so we hug, kiss and support each other to not panic.
Of course, we are anxious about the situation, because our city will be one of the main targets, if our military f___es are not strong enough to protect against the Russian invasion. And we are also afraid about the Chornobil station - it’s is occupied now, unfortunately, our f___es lost it. It can be a first step to the second largest radioactive catastrophe - it’s even more frightening for me than loosing my country to Putin.
I hope our Ukrainian f___es will protect us against those invaders and we won’t need to run. I love you all and I thank you for your support. Slava Ukraini!
