Putting apartments offline when participants are away

Me? Are you kidding me? Since when I am making VHTV rules?

Good morning,
Hope you are having a nice Monday. Could you please confirm you can’t see this scene (or any another one) before 18.42? I’ll try to sort everything our then.

I just remembered why I put that idiot on ignore.

May I ask for your help please? Do you see morning scene when you click the link above?

When Jabbath will be making the rules, it’s Kazantip-house death

The link open at 13:28 of day 10/10 . Before and After timeline is working normally. Only checked cam 11

And just because the s__tty cams already were k__led

Weird the apartment seems to be empty but camera 4 (bedroom shows her lying on the bed); no other cam in the bedroom shows her.

Nah only Junior and Scott have to move to the basement :stuck_out_tongue: :joy:

Yep
all cams at 13:28 except bedroom cam 4 at 18:42

She appears in the apartment at around 17.47 (I am not exact but close enough). The bedroom cam 4 has her on the bed but she has just entered and is on the other cams.

Then I assume @ed2 just clicked one Bedroom camera which wasn’t streaming until 18.42 and was rebooted due to kind @Darkknight1973 report. Timeline was available all this time as we didn’t take apartment offline and you can enjoy Candy Red’s Sunday chilling.

But the rule still exists (though we’ve changed it a little and apartment is offline when participant is not at home at 48 hours). And we really turn place online only when managers tell us to :innocent:

If with a rule they aren’t responsible at all, just imagine without that rule would be a total party with tenants away all the time and earning money with that

Why can’t the participants be more responsible and inform VHTV of their situation when they know they won’t be back within that period of time, certainly I don’t think it is that hard to do. Also you assume VHTV are monitoring timings so that they would know when a participant has been away for 24hrs when it is more than likely that they have been informed by an outside source.

Out of interest why not keep the cam running unless the request is made for privacy (arguments, family visits etc)? Then you can place the warning label over the apartment as usual but people can still click despite knowing they shouldn’t see anything interesting. Could double as free security / pet monitoring

@kaya how do I send you a PM?

Please make a ticket via our support page for any private question :slightly_smiling_face:

I agree with you - the cams should be left running when the participants are away.

I disagree. Not fair as the tenants will earn money with an empty apartment

I read somewhere that the income is derived per numbers of clicks, have no idea if that is actually so but if it is true then they would still get paid while away. OK a whole new discussion opens up that people should have the right to pad holidays but for so many reason I will not go there.
