I know this is technically ‘off topic’ but I have to ask…
Forgive me please but I am still rather puzzled by the use of a ‘thumbs up’ emoji INSIDE your OWN post.
I get why we use them as an external reaction TO a post as we are simply agreeing with or just acknowledging said post but what purpose does it serve to do that to one you have created yourself?

For me, it’s pretty much the same thing. If I’m replying to someone, it’s a way of acknowledging what was said to me, or agreeing with what he said, or saying thanks, etc.

I actually sometimes do that too, when it’s within a context, to acknowledge something being said or done. I’ll ought to let letsdothis speak for himself, but in this case I assume he’s just acknowledging the thumbs up he got from Jonathon.
