I don’t know how you do that as a hobby, but as the resident movie nerd I may have an interesting recommendation. I recently saw a movie about a christian sect that I didn’t really now anything about, the Shakers.
The Testament of Ann Lee is not only quite interesting regarding the subjuect matter, first and foremost it is a very good film. Amanda Seyfried delivers a very strong performance and the photography amd music are just beautiful. And the choreography, too. Beccause it is also a musical. Kind of. Does that sound weird enough? Movie enthusiasta who like to go a bit outside of the mainstream may find this to be very delightful. One may still catch it in theatres, I’ll say it’s definitely worth seeing on the big screen.
