Yes, we are a fickle audience, so a year of chastity is definitely going to have a bad impact on Aora’s viewership and VHTV income. I’m not sure how dependent she is on that income, though.
I know the army pays their regular soldiers quite well, because they want all the cannon fodder they can get. I don’t know about the conscripts though, the young men who just do their compulsory service. One the one hand you wouldn’t need to pay them much, if anything, because they have no choice in the matter, and it’s not like the higher ups have any respect or appreciation for their men.
On the other hand you want to entice the conscripts to join the regulars, so that’s one reason not to treat them too badly, initially. Before you throw them into the meat grinder.
So, with support from Paladin, maybe money isn’t that much of a problem for this year.
However, if Aora wants to maintain her viewership through this year of Paladin’s absence, she’d have to change something. Either she has to up her masturbation game, make it a bit more viewer friendly, or, as I keep saying, she should warm up to the idea of having some fun with girls. I, for one, would love to see that. And it should be easier for Paladin to agree to.
