For obvious reasons related to our contract, I don’t post much, as I know that things can be misunderstood when observed from the outside. But today, I wanted to share something with you.
It’s technically something I shouldn’t talk about outside, as the word shouldn’t spread: so this is the perfect place to talk about it, since officially it doesn’t exist here and there isn’t enough information to put the puzzle together.
If you see me acting a bit strange, it’s because I’ve made a very heavy decision.
We’ve decided to leave the publisher that was producing our game, due to their recent behavior.
They’ve created a rather toxic mechanism, probably due to internal problems in the company that don’t concern me, Marla, or my partner, by cutting product lines and ceasing communications. Because of this, we also lost the October event, one of the most important in the world.
It’s not something we can’t recover from, of course, but it will take a lot of sweat and effort. This exposes us to big risks, which is probably why I’ve seemed more nervous than usual these days. And generally, if we seem strange during this period, that’s why.
I welcome any advice, even just on how to calm the nerves.
And hey, if anyone knows any TTRPG producers, don’t hesitate to let me know. The product is doing great despite these messes xD
