I am curious about the device in the middle of the pool…

It looks (and sounds) like a mini water feature but I suspect it has an actual purpose of simply keeping the water moving to avoid it becoming stagnant when not in use. I am wondering though, how it is activated, as I noticed it does not appear to be switched on all the time, such as at night. Also, I noticed that at the time it appeared to come on (as shown in the screen shot), there was no obvious human activity to suggest it being turned on with a switch.

Please forgive my outright ignorance (and possibly overly curious approach) with this but maybe @Crerigan you could please explain the function it has and its activation to me? Many thanks.

It is, yes. I found it quite fascinating to see it working, the way it does, in Hector and Marla’s pool.

You are correct(sorry for late in the reply) this is a small solar powered water fountain, it ensure the water moves and remains cold, also have a little filter. It automatically turn on when sun shine upon it and don’t need to be controlled manually

I was thinking the filtration system may be controlled with a time clock. but you saying it is solar operated then.?

the filtrarion system is controlled by marla’s room, and it’s the fountain white directly under the camera itself
the black floating one is solar operated
