Is it possible to block people so i dont have to see post’s of certain people and they cant comment on my stuff
Yes, go to the profile of the person concerned and click on the “Normal” button on the right (see picture)
will work better with posts inside a thread, not if the blocked one created it

I ignored the ‘ignore’ for a long time, but then had to realize that the function can have a b___d pressure-lowering effect…
I still get notifications for unread posts on topics when an ignored person posts, I also see the post when quoted as well but it does mostly work but not very well

seems like ‘mute’ is not present in ‘ignore’. Unfortunately, both cannot be switched on at the same time
edit: explained text for the function says that mute is contained in ignore, but I also sometimes suspect that it doesn’t seem to be that way. maybe only applies to direct messages, not to posts in a subscribed topic?
If there’s a conversation with 3 people and 1 participant in that conversation was blocked would it not make it confusing if you wasn’t getting the full input into it?

No one should be able hide their account or block anyone. If you can’t handle the real world in a public space than too fucking bad. That’s what think about it. Allowing people to ignore others creates a broken field of play and creates click of like minded people who then bully and subjugate others. Eventually they use that power base to threaten the site into meeting their demands or else. Everyone should have to live in the same space as everyone else. Grow up and stand on your own!
It’s a free world and people can say what they want, they can troll, they can get annoying and others have the right to block/ignore just as in the real cruel world.

He is keep doing it on purpose and because I started discussion to put restrictions on freeloader…. and he is scared of getting free fun here….

Because block and ignore button doesn’t work….
So please update ignore feature….
