You know what VHTV is going to say, don’t you? Grow a pair of balls.
Just use the “Ignore” function in your preferences - you can put someone on ignore for a set number of days, weeks or months, or Forever. It’s not perfect, but it works okay for me. I put 3 people on my list “forever” and I never see anything from them, unless I want to unlock the hidden posts, which I don’t. You can also change your message settings to prevent anyone from sending you private messages.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where people would rather hide from their problems and confrontation rather than deal with them. But hey this forum isn’t the real world anyway so block away is what I say.
Thank you but people know how the ignore function works… This topic is more about the loopholes in its functionality and if there is a better solution than the ignore feature.

When there’s one of the people that I have on “Ignore & Mute” and they post in Amelie & Lucas topic
they do not appear in the topic as “VIEW 1 HIDDEN REPLY”
but when they post in any other topic it shows
Surely if you have someone on ignore & mute the first option would be the perfect solution.
I would think that everyone that has someone on ignore & mute would prefer it to be this way.
Another issue is that when the new post notification shows and it says “1” (like below in screenshot) but you can see that the last poster is someone you have blocked, the only way I have found to remove that notification is by actually visiting the topic so in short it’s hiding the post on the topic but not hiding the notification that post generates
As the silence is deafening I take it this can’t be resolved 
To follow on from my previous post, it seems I now can’t get rid of notifications from blocked people unless either I put up with the notification displaying or I read their post
Lads, I’m sorry you experience these issues, but in the same time we tied to the functionality of the core source code here. Let us get some info on why this works this way and if there are any plans to fix it someday if original developers consider this as an issue.
