Do you remember the TV show ‘I Love Lucy’, with Lucille Ball and Ricky Ricardo? You’re certainly old enough to remember it.
That’s what Ricky would say to Lucy when she had done something wrong (not that you did anything wrong), and he was upset and needed an explanation. It sounded like that because he had an accent.
Nah, Scots are tight, don’t feed them that much 
I’m not having much luck with jobs lately.
I wasn’t suited to be a tailor.
The muffler factory was just exhausting.
I couldn’t cut it as a barber.
I didn’t have the patience to be a doctor.
I wasn’t a good fit in the shoe factory even though I put my soul into it.
The paper shop folded. Pool maintenance was too draining.
I got fired from the cannon factory.
And I just couldn’t see any future as a historian.
Reverend Boudreaux was the part-time pastor of the local Cajun Baptist Church and Pastor Thibodaux was the minister of the Covenant Church across the road.
They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground, that read: “Da End is Near – Turn Yo Sef ‘Roun Now – Afore It Be Too Late!”
As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and yelled, “You religious nuts!”
