The FIA are totally stupid if they plan to slot the Bahrain back into the calendar. The cars would need to be built like tanks and bullet proof.
Just read that the FIA, have called Ferrari and Red Bull to explain how their Macarena rear wing works.
Because they don’t think it’s safe enough, especially when you look at the crash Max had on Sunday, which totally messed up the closing stages of the British GP.
I’m hoping they ban them, and make them work the same way the old DRS system did, as none of them failed.

Calendar Updates: The 2027 F1 calendar will hold 24 rounds, with Istanbul Park returning and the Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimao replacing Zandvoort and Spa-Francorchamps.

You know as well as I do that in Formula 1, only those who can afford the entry fees get to race.
The race organizers have to take a financial risk up front, without knowing whether they’ll be able to recoup their expenses.
I’m thinking of Hockenheim or the Nürburgring. But no one was willing to take on the financial risk of hosting those races anymore.
When we talk about Spa, it’s just like Zandvoort—a crowd-puller. We say it’s a “no-go.” They have to be there—for the atmosphere and the many fans. No question about it.
But Formula 1 goes where the money is—to whoever pays the most and where it can make money most easily. Because Formula 1 is also a flagship event.
Still, I’d say one race in the U.S. has to be enough.
But who knows what kind of connection our “Superman” Trump has with the FIA leadership.
