The fun part was Russell complaining about his Lego Go-Kart ending up in the gravel trap, like he did yesterday. During qualifying.

It’s going to be interesting to hear what caused Max’s car to travel to the gravel trap. I’m recording the last part of the CH4 programmes to watch a bit later on.
Just read, Hamilton could lose his podium place. As he got called to the stewards over a yellow flag infringement, when Hulkenberg broke down and pulled to the side of the track.

there was nothing he did wrong, when he got te yellow on his display he was just exiting the yellow zone

The FIA explains why the race finished behind the Safety Car
The regulations regarding Safety Car periods, Article B5.13.5, state that one full lap must be completed after the unlapping procedure has ended. This procedure was followed by Race Control.
The “SAFETY CAR IN THIS LAP” message was displayed by mistake due to a software error.
(utter bulshit in my opinion)

All eyes on Spa now. because this year is the last time it will automatically be included in the F1 race calendar. Even though it’s the fastest circuit out of all of them.
We really need to ditch a US one to keep Spa permanently on the calendar.

Zijn achtervleugel ging niet geheel dicht. Geen downforce meer.
So reading that, Sainz didn’t go the full distance. But I thought he peeled off and went into the pit lane. To get new tyres.
Max did explain that, that his rear wing didn’t close fully, which meant he didn’t have the downforce to take the corner at speed.
