Congratulations to George and Mercedes.
But I think we could still be in for an exciting season, now that Max is closing in again.
I just can’t quite figure out Ferrari yet.
In practice and qualifying, the cars are super fast. At the start of the race, they can keep up with the leaders very well. But by the time the pit stops roll around, at the latest, they completely lose touch with the front of the pack and fall back to the level of the McLarens, where they battle for 4th through 6th place. Strange!
And for Alonso, the Formula 1 veteran, the end of his career at Aston Martin seems to be turning into a fiasco.
Aston Martin and Honda did not do any updates yet this seasons, they save it for the second half of the season, so we will have to wait and see what it brings
It’s the big one this weekend. The British GP, just hope Max can keep the pressure up on the Mercedes like he did yesterday. And it’s a Sprint weekend as well.
As for the Ferrari’s I don’t have much hope for them going any further forward just yet. That win Hamilton got, might be his last one, for this season.
So is it Silverstone’s turn? Isn’t that the only race that’s run counterclockwise…? ![]()
Yeah, yeah, the English. ![]()
I don’t know how the Ferraris could get any better, either. But I’d really like to see Lewis win one or two more races. That would keep things really exciting at the top.
And who knows—isn’t Silverstone Hamilton’s home turf?
Silverstone travels clockwise, but Singapore does go anti-clockwise. Quite a few teams have their home at or near the Silverstone track.
The other thing with Silverstone, it relies on pure engine power. Because it’s totally flat, being as it started life as an RAF airfield.
the race in onboards and radio’s
Oscar or George? who woud you prefer in your team?
Here’s a reminder of the golden era of F1, and it’s on a circuit that they don’t use anymore.it’s still used for truck & touring cars.
For those who still believe in Adrian Newey ( I am one of them ) a nice interview in which he tells that there weill be updates coming for the hungarian GP
What can he do if Honda is once again inept to get their shit together?
I’m wondering how they managed to convince them to stay. Because Honda were adamant to quit F1, when the new regs were announced for this season. That’s why RB switched to a Ford based engine, even though it was designed in-house as a powertrain.
He was a great designer for F1, most of the cars he designed, went onto win WDC’s. But at Aston Martin (no pun intended) the wheels have fallen off.
it is not just the engine , it is all the components not fitting together

another brilliant episode from the Lollipopman
Carlos is ready for Silverstone
the driversparade on sunday before the race might be fun as well!
Everyone gets a go-kart in teamcolours and their racingnumber on it built out of LEGO
I don’t think that they just follow each other without trying to overtake
Maximum speed is around 25km/h
Stroll will still crash ![]()
