Agree there about Red Bull, that might change from next season, as they introduce revised engine specs from 2027, with the final revision in 2028.

I honestly think it will end up being a 3 horse race, as you say. Ferrari & Mercedes, but I also think McLaren, might but only might, give them both a headache at times.

Nico Hulkenberg:
Pretty unbelievable .. I drove closely behind Liam and caught some gravel after he went wide. One stone hit the fire extinguisher and ERS kill switch and shut the car down. Race over. Very bitter one!

Overall a competitive weekend, one to build on. @audif1

But it’s amazing how a small stone, if it hits the right spot, can put such a high-tech device out of commission.

They’ve just highlighted something on the race highlights I’m watching. It’s been 10 years since Max won his 1st GP and it was at the Spanish GP.

As Antonelli didn’t finish the race, due to him breaking down. They’ve just posted he’s got a 5sec penalty for track limits. I can’t remember if that gets carried forward to Austria in a fortnight.

Didn’t know they had the cams there, I know they’re at Spa as they climb Eau Rouge, as I think the corner come hill is called. because it’s great seeing the cars doing nearly 200mph up that hill and over that camera.

They’ve finally agreed to the new engine regs from next year, it’ll be 58/42 in favour of ICE and from 2028 it’ll be 60/40 in favour.

So that should bring the cars closer together again, and cut out swaparama as each car overtakes each other 3 or 4 times in the space of a corner.

Nikola Tsolov has reportedly been guaranteed a seat at Racing Bulls for 2027 as per Soy Motor

If Max Verstappen stays then Liam Lawson will be let go.
If Max Verstappen leaves there are more possibilities.

Here’s a nice reminder of when F1 was F1. And quite a few recognisable drivers, as well as the voice of F1. Murray Walker.
