Didn’t Hamilton try something similar, but he gave up.
I could be wrong. But I remember him trying something outside of F1, but still motorsport related.

I didn’t pay much attention to Formula 1 during the winter break.
But the countdown is on, and there’s only one week left until the new season starts. I’m really excited about the new season, especially to see how balanced or dominant the individual teams are with the new cars. I’m also very excited about Audi’s entry. How will Audi be able to keep up in the race? Exciting. As far as I’m concerned, it can start again, and Sundays will once more have another sporting attraction.
The Indy Car series starts this weekend in the USA, I believe. I’m very happy that Mick Schumacher has found another cockpit there. And that he can continue to hone his talent there.
Perhaps this is exactly the springboard Mick needs for a return to the premier class. It will be exciting to watch.
So let’s get started. And refuel our petrol in our blood.
cheers!
The only thing I have paid some attention to is that Ham repeatedly has said that he is “at one with this Ferrari.” Remains to be seen if there is any truth in it. ![]()
I’ve just read, looks like a compromise may have been reached over Mercedes supposed loophole they’ve found where they can get more power with those new engine ratio’s.
See what happens a week today during qualifying.
still time to take part then!
That is indeed an exciting question. Because it will be exciting to see how he really is with the Ferrari. And whether he has a car capable of winning in the new season. To win races.
After all, you can fall in love with a pile of scrap metal.

The big challenge is, who and what team, can make the new regs work. Take the last reg change. And Red Bull made them work ‘BIG’ time, and then McLaren found the sweet spot and swept Red Bull under the carpet.
Thanks for pointing that out. ![]()
Here’s a youtube you may like, it’s fairly old, but you’ll see some familiar names.
I’m not taking sides, but I think they should cancel the Bahrain GP, just for the safety of the teams, drivers and cars.
It’s a shame that Mick was out in the first lap of his Indy Car debut.
But I want to emphasize that it wasn’t his fault. He was more or less taken out. He started in 21st place out of 25. But he couldn’t react in time. It’s a shame.
The wet weather testing for Pirelli tyres that had been scheduled has been cancelled due to safety concerns.
Here’s a something I’ve just read.
Zac Brown wants to move the Australian GP, which takes place this coming weekend from a 3pm start time to a night time race, as he thinks there’s not enough night races.
Surely that defeats the object of F1 becoming carbon neutral.
What’s your opinion?
We will have to wait and see how things will develop in the middle east.
It looks like all the crewmembers will be on time in Australia, but a lot of them would normally travel via Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
Nothing decided by now about Race 4 in Bahrein and Race 5 in Saudi Arabia.
So we will hear and read about that in time

I think if the worst comes to the worst. They may have backup circuits in place.
That’s the best I could find from F1 Blog via MSN
Formula 1’s realistic replacement options if Middle East races falter
We’re used to it though ![]()
The question is what will happen to the middle east events. A wait and see. ![]()
