Noticed that only 4 teams including Red Bull. Won’t be testing the hard tyres and it looks like Williams are running the next heaviest amount of softs.

Just read on the BBC F1 page. Christian Horner and a few others want to buy a stake in Alpine.
I had a feeling he wouldn’t stay away from F1 for long. But I didn’t expect his attempting return to F1 in time for this season, considering Red Bull only sacked him halfway through last season.

So not counting Audi, Red Bull or the Racing Bulls. It’s going to be a 2 horse race where Engines are concerned with the rest of the grid.
So it’ll come down to reliability, as to who gets where with the Ferrari or Mercedes powered teams.

that could be the reason that Williams will not be there this week, they will have plenty of data about the Mercedes engine without spending any money.
Because this test is pure about reliability, Ocon made the most laps in the morning session Hadjar was fastest, but times are irrelevant , because of the weather and track conditions

I reckon Monaco will be different this year, as the cars are smaller compared to last years.

So no reliability probs it seems…
3 red flaggs so far, Colapinto,Bortoletto and Lawson all had issues and stopped on track, the reasons are not shared yet
Seems that Ferrari & Ford seems to be the most reliable, when looking at the amount of laps completed.

Not a bad start for the Red Bulls, and Mercedes look quite strong. Even though they did do more laps than the RB’s.

untill now there is not one car who did a lap at the limit.. they are more than 7 seconds away from pole time last year
