The 5 second penalty would have put him behind Charles around the second pit stop

I hope nothing of that happens. This would be cruel for him. (Lando)

does not matter anymore, he was 6.7 seconds ahead of Charles at the end

The FIA was perhaps afraid to intervene.
Nevertheless, Lando deserved it.

LEC was fourth, so a rather good day for Ferrari all things considered. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

But it would’ve put Norris under more pressure than he’s used to, and then he may or may not have panicked and make a mistake.

That’s the lesson they learnt from 2021.

But I don’t think Piastri’s move was planned.

So The FIA has learnt a lesson? Congratulations to them.

Does not look that way. Definitely not planned.

A fantastic, exciting season finale.
Who would have thought in the middle of the season that the world champion would end up just two points ahead?

Nobody thought Mr “Oh, I think I will be very happy you knpw.” would end up one point ahead in 2007 either.

Exactly, everyone was prepared to write Max off with that 104 points deficit. But his luck changed up until today.

Did not write him off, but I was thinking it would be a hard task. :fire:

Did Lewis just announce his retirement?

Not surprised if that would be the case. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Well, I haven’t read any news like that yet.

the stewards report about the overtake on Yuki

kind of agree, but then they should apply this every time

Just had a quick look, but nothing mentioned about Hamilton hanging up his helmet. I read about his anger, and nearly crying (what’s new) about his 1st season with Ferrari.
