Another way of looking at it. If you got an F1 driver to stand in front of you in just their underwear. All you would see is a bag of bones, because they’re not allowed to have more than 5% body fat. It could be more, which only adds to the stress of long distance travel.
it is not only the drivers, the crew is working ther asses of these last weeks, working on the car is just a part of what they do, hospitalities and so on also have to be built up and off
I have to support myself onto Frank Williams words once. “The drivers. They are great athletes. They are highly paid great sportsmen. And indeed champions many of them. And we expect almost constant perfection from them. They are employees. It is a hard relationship. A tough relationship. Sometimes that is a negative point. Sometimes that is a plus point.” ![]()
True, but it’s just a figure of speech. When you compare an F1 driver to Joe Bloggs, as you can see hardly any body fat.

That certainly put a spanner into Christian Horner’s return to F1, as he was chatting to Aston for that job. And that would’ve brought one the greatest F1 principals and car designer together again.
But based on the last 18 months, when those two started going different ways. I think keeping those two apart now is the best for F1.
I’ve heard that a few times too, that Horner might join when his gardening leave is over, which I think is in March 2026?
But… wasn’t it true that Newey left Red Bull because of the Horner affair?
So I have no idea if Newey wants to work with Horner again.
I believe that’s what started the cracks to appear between Horner & Newey.
But not 100%
So as we’ve both said keeping those two apart can only be a good thing.
Horner and Newey together? Rather doubtful if that will go fine. ![]()
Made me swear when I saw that clown and his mate top the time sheets and I was at work as I got a notification on my watch.
Why is he a clown? ![]()
I only can say that Lando is the nicest person on the grid
And Oscar is the coolest
the clown finished on P9 ![]()
Because up until the summer break, they thought they had in the bag, and then it started falling apart big time.
I do agree with one thing and that is that Daddys Fulltime Daycare is a clown.
