The Stewards, seem to change the rules race by race. And the FIA really don’t give a damn either. That’s the problem and causing the downgrading of the sport, as no one really knows the rules now, when it comes to contravention of the rules and when to issue penalties.
I would say that Oscar made a false start, which normally results in a penalty, OK. But this would only have been relevant if he had stayed in the race. Regardless of his position.
However, since he didn’t even complete a lap, it won’t be decisive.
Nevertheless, I agree with you. At least per season, it should always be the same three commissioners who monitor the rules or issue penalties.
And not different ones in every race. That way, it becomes something that no one can understand anymore.
Let’s hope Max’s run of good luck continues, and can turn it around for himself, because the constructors is out of his reach, as that could be wrapped up in Singapore.
Even though everyone thought McLaren would take the crown today, but as we saw it slipped through their hands for this race.
It is being reported that Christian Horner has formally left Red Bull after agreeing a severance deal reportedly to be 60 million Euro’s.
Red Bull probably thinking that is the best idea they could come up with. ![]()
He got a pay out of £52m, so that severs all ties with Red Bull. But then that begs the next question, will he or won’t he stay with F1, by joining another team. Based on his previous 20 years at Red Bull.
The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Christian Horner will be allowed to return to F! possibly as early as next season if he wants to return to the sport.
