Saying that about RB, When Piastri made the lunge for the lead, and had to hit the brakes, I was hoping he would shunt Norris up the backside, and take both of them out.

Something like that happened in Canada. Piastri hit the inside of Norris`s left back wheel, Piastri retired and said sorry. While Norris continued the race to the end. Idiots both of them. But such things like that happens. :fire:

Nevertheless, for me, Oscar Piastri will be the world champion at the end of the season. Because I think he is the slightly better and more consistent driver compared to Lando.
That’s just a tip from me.

I predict at least one more collision between the two til the end of season…

I agree. Will be a close race to the end between them. The only real exciting element of the season left. Norris cut the points down this time. So not over just yet.

But how long will this, goody goody attitude last, before it starts to boil over and we end up with Senna & Prost, part 2.

That is always a risky element. Equal egos to match. When will it smash or something.

Vettel and Mark Weber were also an exciting duel back then at Red Bull.
But the world champion is the driver with the greatest cold-shortness. And who also lets his team-mate jump over the blade at some point.
And that’s what I see with Oscar Piastri, who I think is the more egotistical guy.

The rivalery between Vettel and Webber gradually intensified. Especially during the 2010 season in particular. Unavoidable.

That partnership was odd to say the least, because it resembles Verstappen & Tsunoda that we have today. Because Vettel would always bring the car home, whereas Webber’s car would fail on the odd occasion.

Vettel always said that your racing car tool is like your girlfriend. You need to treat it with respect and compassion.

But Vettel, just like Michael, also pushed his team-mates off the road when they jeopardised his success.
And that’s exactly what you need to become world champion.

The biggest prick ends up with the biggest award. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It was Norris who hit Piastri. In Canada.

Yes. Correct. Sorry. :slightly_smiling_face:

All we can hope for now, is what will happen at the end of the month in the Netherlands, once F! has had it’s compulsory 3 week break.

Will the McLarens stay out in front based on the points they have now, or will Mercedes, Ferrari & Redbull finally fix the faults and start to close the gap.

Found this, nothing exciting as such, but the track is where Nikki Lauda had his crash in 1976.

I think the 1st problem there is, is the fact next years are narrower than this years, so you’ll have less rubber in contact with the tarmac, and being a rookie as well, it seemed obvious.
