The Hulk has struck today. Congratulations! From 19th to 3rd, the first podium of his career. Congratulations. Even if the weather played right into his hands. Nevertheless
“Clean” home.

Congratulations to Lando too. First victory at Silverstone

When you consider that the Hulk’s career in Formula 1 was almost over. And only jumped back in as a replacement driver during the Corona period. He was actually already sorted out  :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks like Max might have deceived the Stewards with the Oscar penalty, apparently Oscar did the same thing on the first safety Car, when the safety car lights went out Oscar braked to cause a gap between himself and safety car
Second time round Max was a lot closer and had to take “avoiding” action obviously backfired on Max with him spinning

When you consider what a cucumber Sauber was at the beginning of the season, and now they’re in a better position than Ferrari, and that as a customer team, you can only congratulate them with the utmost respect.

Oskar has obviously braked hard. And that in these slippery conditions. That could have led to a chain reaction with rear-end collisions. That’s why I thought the penalty was right.
However, I have to quote Ralf Schuhmacher, who said: ‘Nice drivers rarely become world champions’. I think that’s true.

So then the Ferrari main factory team is doing a too bad job. Someone should point out to them: You guys must step up your game. Shame on you. :fire:

I wouldn’t see Sauber as a direct competitor to Ferrari yet. But you’re right! Sauber has got better. But we mustn’t forget that he was almost last in qualifying. And the weather conditions, the rain, pushed him to the front.
Nevertheless, it was a great achievement to bring the car home clean and intact.
