So maybe not a coincidence the last world champion with Ferrari was the Iceman Kimi  who does not give a fuck about any myths :joy:

Common guys, this will be Ferrari’s season for both driver and constructor titles. As much i don’t like him, i believe that Hamilton will win the title this season, he is better than Leclerc ( i hate to say it but it’s quite true )

Very good point. Iceman Kimi. When he recieved the trophy for the victory in 2007 there was a specific song going in the backround for Kimi specifically. You are as cold as Ice. :sparkling_heart:

Once Kimi was asked by a reporter if he could please describe how his car was working more specifically from a technical point of view some years back. While he was driving for Ferrari. And ultimately he just simply answered: Oh, I don`t know. I just drive my car.

Eddie Irvine once said when he was asked if he still has any contacts to Formula one:

Well not really only Kimi sometimes gives me a call at strange times of the day when he is d.runk

I saw the movie about the life of Michael Schumacher on Netflix tonight. It is a must! Love him or hate him, but this movie is very impressive

Is that the one where his family speaks or is it a different one?

Yes, Corinna his wife, Ralf his brother and Mick and Gina his children are being interviews and talk about him, also after the ski accident

It’s so surprising that, he drove F1 cars, had bangs & crashes and walked away virtually unscathed, apart from a battered ego.
He goes skiing once with his family hits his head on a rock, and is now a human vegetable.
I’m not being heartless, but I think when he does die, that’ll be a lot of pressure off of the family.
Because when his son was driving, even though it was a big challenge and not because of his surname, but quite a few people kept on asking him how Michael was.

Then I hope Aston Martin will be able to bring in the sufficient resources to provide the proper equipment. :sparkling_heart:

I thing AM are dreaming, if they want Max. It’s going to cost a hell of a lot more than £1bn.

Let’s not kid ourselves and think max is driving for anyone other then Red Bull and that he will not leave F1 after his contract ends with Red Bull in 2028

That is certainly his intention, he is in his place and Helmut Marko is there, but Marko is old and will not stop him for 1 billion euros, perhaps he can still join if Max would make that a condition.

what speaks for Aston Martin is that they have Adrian Newey and Honda engines from 2026.

The question is whether everything will work that year, but that is the case with all teams

it may well be that Williams suddenly sets the tone.

this is what Robert Doornbos says about it (former F1 driver and also Dutch)

Adrian Newey could be a decission changer for the Dutchman to join Aston Martin.

Thats a lot of if”s & but’s, I personally don’t see it happening if he leaves Red Bull he will leave F1 is my opinion, I wouldn’t rule out that he could do a Kimi and go off and do other things and come back as he wants to do Le Mans

He is happy at Red Bull, but the drama last year ariund Horner did no good, Newey and Wheatley leaving was also not his choice, so I don’t know if he still thinks the same as december 2021 when he won his first championship.
But when he retires he will build on his own racingteam.

But having Fernando Alonso at Aston Martin as driver or team manager or principal or any other job could be a game changer, because those two get along very good
