But when you use past History with F1 & Ferrari. Anyone who joins that team, that seems to be their last team before retiring from the sport.
One example is the the best driver in f1 and that’s Michael Schumacher.
He left Benetton and joined Ferrari and then departed the sport, and the rest they say is history.

and then he came back and joined Mercedes

FANGIO left ferrari in 56 went to maserati and won the title in 57
then you had nikki lauder - nigell mansell - alain prost -fernando alonso - kimi raikkonan and you could even throw John surtees from the 60s all left ferrari and went onto other teams

took my grandson to silverstone in 2010 was fortunate enough to have a greet and meet with the drivers my grandson had a picture jenson button and got most of the drivers to sign it he was 10years old at the time all the other drivers didnt mind signing the pic put vettel just put a cross on it , i saw what he did and called him a useless wanker ,he heard me and reported me to a steward and asked the steward to remove me from the track , fortunatley he just asked me to stand to the side till vetty had moved on , thats why i cant stand the guy

I think that’s because Jensen beat him at the Canadian GP in 2009, where on a drying track Vettel spun, and gave Jensen the lead and the drivers championship later that season.
And that was the only F1 race that ever lasted 4 hours, due to a 2 hour washout mid race.

I just hope Williams are able to rub Ferrari’s nose in it come this season, as they booted out Sainz in favour of Hamilton.

cant see that happening although i dont favour ferrari , they seem to be leading the way with the 2025 engines , its going to be between Mclaren and Ferrari this year cant see redbull dominating …3rd place at best for them IMHO

Have to agree there, Red Bull seem to be burnt out now Adrian Newey has left for Audi in readiness for them to join in 2026.

you guys don’t forget Mercedes, they are sure on the right way back

but i just hope that no team is really dominating, for the fun and excitment it is best that they all are fighting for the win

are they really? are they reaaally?

They might give Red Bull and Alpine a bit of a headache, but Mercedes had trouble with both their cars all season.
So I very much doubt they will be moving forward much more.

i think we will have to wait another year for the silver arrows to shine again in the new engine settings ie power units i do believe thats when they will come into play also alpine have decided to go with a simialar set up for 2026 so be intresting to see how they do ,

I felt like sort of Michael Schumacher in a way at least partly was squeezed out of Ferrari at the end of 2006. The bosses observed That Kimi R was about to reach the ultimate peak of his carrier. Therefore it was very much a thing to get Kimi into Ferrari at that exact point. The bosses reckoned Michael to be slightly on his way down. And Kimi to reach the ultimate peak at that point. Then Michael was the victim of that certain switch. :hugs:
