I told you guys the game against Egypt would likely be a slow affair, just like the one against Cape Verde—though, of course, I didn’t expect Argentina to start off so sluggishly and fall behind 2–0. On the other hand, it was actually great, because it showed just how many Argentina haters are around here; those poor souls actually thought they were going to win right up until the 80th minute. But after trying to swallow Argentina whole, the haters had to spit her back out. They were left looking absolutely foolish—stunned and dumbfounded. What a terrible feeling those Argentina haters must be experiencing right now; it must be awful. Argentina is the team with the most grit, drive, and bravery in football today, and that’s why they’ll beat France; France might have better players, but they lack that fighting spirit. All the haters have left to say is, “Argentina is just Messi, they don’t play well at all” lol—what a miserable feeling it must be to have to spit Argentina back out and be left looking like fools. I pity those haters.
