The Russian police come down hard on demonstrations and dissidents. Most Russians are aware of the truth, but afraid of the authority, and what they can do to them.
Majority of Finland want to join Nato. Russian civilians are leaving their country for Finland. Putin is achieving the exact opposite of what he wants.
The difference between Hitler and Putin, which many people are not realizing or talking about, is that Hitler at least had a following of dedicated soldiers, politicians, and civilians ready to take his vision to the ends of the earth. Now, he did not have the technological or communicative advantages that we have today, but he did have faithfulness – which is the most dangerous weapon. Putin has never said, to my knowledge may I add, that all Ukrainians were evil. Yes, he is bombarding their homes, but to this day, we do not see him trying to openly exterminate people in the streets – or send them to camps.
The thing is Putin is not stupid either, he knows that he cannot do what was mentioned above or what has been done historically by Hitler and the Nazi regime. So, he is playing the other game – where he besieges the cities until the people fighting for it gives up strength.
He also knows that other countries will not get involved, so he is probably sitting back, rubbing his tiny little hands together, and telling himself that he did it. He probably hears the news reports and the interviews of Ukrainian leaders desperately asking for military help and not getting it – and is getting off on the fact that, as long as his own people cannot rise and turn against him – he might as well have won.
What is needed is an internal uprising from Russia – which is not what Germany did with Hitler.
What is needed IS military help from the other countries AND TODAY.
To clarify, I heard an interview with SKY NEWS earlier and the Ukrainian man who was speaking stated what they have been repeating – that they need military help and help in the skies.
The reporter simply responded:
“Let’s see if you and your team (or something like that) can pull that off.”
Additionally, they were showing signs of protestors and she said: “And we are deeply sorry if any of those signs offended views, as we cannot control the language people put.” Or something similar.
The bulls__t is in all of this, not only are the politicians being politically correct, the reporters are too.
If I can find that clip, I will share it – but hell, just because some people may not speak English 100% does not mean that they don’t understand when the world leaders (and media) have given up on them. Yes, the international community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, but what is needed are the politicians and reporters stating the truth:
We want to help the Ukrainian people but we are too chicken s__t scared.
Everyone is afraid that if Nato or other countries try to help World war 3 will begin and all hell will break loose.
In my opinion, they should let it happen. Nobody wants it, but if it solves the problem – then let the wars rage.
Maybe then, we MIGHT get rid of some dictatorships and help more countries become more democratic and open.
They should all agree though on terms of war – one in particular – no nuclear weapons are allowed to be used.
And then, fuck it. Sorry to say, but let’s squash those tanks and let’s end this madness.
If Putin is cornered by NATO he will push that button. The mad man is without any scruples.

The risk is too high for the West to get involved, without risking nuclear war. The mad dog is unpredictable on what can do next
I know. And I also know I was stating the obvious.
But Putin knows - and that is also why, according to some sources, he just said that ANY COUNTRY, REGARDLESS OF ORGANIZATION, helping to impose a no fly zone over Ukraine will be considered part of the conflict.
This fucker knows exactly what he is doing.
He knows that no one wants war to extend past the Ukrainian borders, so no one will do anything more.
What is next? Putin will say that any country providing weapons or humanitarian aid will be considered part of the conflict. That anyone who is protesting in Ukraine will be treated like the protestors in Russia? He knows that he has all other countries sitting like dogs waiting to eat from the palm of his hands.
Unless something miraculous happens.
We need to find his weak spot.
The Achilles heel
The weak spot is is own people. When the stuff they have tasted starts to dry up because of the sanctions then even those who only listen to his propaganda will realise that there is something wrong. When the Russian apartments are kicked off this site will the tenants realise that it is their leader who caused this. Only the Russian people can get rid of him. The threat of war does not worry him as he will be safe and he has no concern about the loss of Russian people. So yes the Russian people will have to suffer economically which is a lot better that the Ukraines who are being k__led with bombs and bullets. Seems unjust to some but then war is never fair and remember it is the Russians who started this war. If they want to end their economic hardship then let them get rid of Putin.
I agree sith almost everything EXCEPT kicking Russian tenants off this site – which has nothing to do with this war.

I do not think they are blind to this fact, many of them disagree with their leadership. They already have their voices censored on the ariwaves, or so we hear, why remove them from this site when it does no harm to anyone.

It is a little, but actually closing Russian apartments would be equal to closing the whole vhtv, so I don’t think they would decide to do it;
Give me a good reason why VHTV should have special privileges? The only reason and you would never admit it is that it would reduce your viewing pleasure. What have the Russian athletes who cannot participate in international sporting events done differently than VHTV tenants, they had no wish for the war. Why should the Russian businesses who have no wish for the war but can no longer do business because they cannot be paid be punished but VHTV tenants not be punished. Every Russian should be treated equally, no exception. Yes viewers will have to sacrifice a bit.

I agree as VHTV is only interested in money. They speak hollow words.
Sorry but it makes complete sense, most country’s are applying sanctions to curb the russian bear yet others are continuing to trade with them because they are in need of commodities with which they are being supplied with, for example, gas. This is what i call hypocritical in fact that isn’t a strong enough word really.
