Itâs not that simple sadly as many of these people do not have passports as they have never travelled outside of their country before, which are needed under the biometric entry system for the UK. I can understand the UKâs stance on this as they say it is for security concerns, saying there are âextremists on the groundâ in Ukraine. But many other countries are allowing them to escape and enter the country just under their ID, I cannot see many Ukrainians going to the UK sadly.

Sadly I read it and there is nothing new from when I posted earlier, the only slight bit of hope here is if they are able to be identified through their ID with the UN refugee agency to identify people on the border. As you say, all we can do is hope, but if I were in their shoes I would take advantage of the situation and find myself a much better place to go like Spain in the sun as WizzAir are offering 100,000 free flights to anywhere in Europe and sounds a much more appealing offer.

So question: are there more negotiations today or not?
The last I heard it said they were going back to discuss it with their relative camps and resume in several days. Whatever that means god only knows, but I did see some news report and I donât know if it is true or not but there is a possibility that China might mediate between the two and I hope it is true as that puts more importance in the negotiations.
