Not everyone in the army is in favor of war. And not everyone who is drafted wants to go, but they can’t resist it (except by deserting). And not every conscript is actually sent into combat.
Aora’s traditions will backfire on her at the latest when Paladin is actually sent to the front…
But from her perspective as a relative of a conscript, I can understand it to some extent.

I completely agree with you and Kaya… I don’t think it’s very wise to glorify a recruit or soldier from a country that many of us consider an invader, and this is the case with Russia.
