Discussion about Russian invasion of Ukraine

A senseless war! I communicate with someone in Ukraine every day and every night they hear the drone and missile attacks. Fear has become a normal state of mind now since the invasion and are numbed to it. Soldier to solider is one thing, but to make the civilian population a major target is another!! But then we all know that Potin wants to eradicate the Ukrainian population.

you know as well as i do how this war will play out .there are 4 types of point of views on it
first you have the *optimist
2nd you have the *pessimist
then you have the *realist
and finally you have the *soldiers point of view.
im with the latter and as such i wont disclose what i think will happen out of respect to the aggreived nation , All i will say is be ready for the ripple effect its only just starting

footnote , FFS ! Its *missile not missal, 3 laps of the parade ground with a pace stick up your butt ! for you

The truth may hurt, but it’s better than lies :upside_down_face:

I stand corrected! I have too admit. I’ve never done 3 laps of the parade square with a pace stick up my butt! lol. But I have done 3 laps plus of a parade square while on basic training when I smiled at a Sargent as he was giving me a dressing down. It was done with a FN C1 that weighed 4.22 kilograms or 9.56 pounds over my head. As they say, no pain no gain. And fuck me, I was in pain!

ā€œFN C1 Canadian manufactured derivative of the Belgium Fabrique Nationale (FN) semi-automatic rifle. After some initial production changes, it was known as the FNC1A1 that fired the 7.62mm (308 cal)ā€

And yes, when I mention I trained with an FN C1 in basic training I’m showing my age. But dam, she had stopping power!!! And yes I slept with her as well on occasion (as an ole soldier you know, we all slept them). :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

As a Medic this was not what I carried. I carried a Sterling Mk. 4/L2A3 submachine gun (with folding stock) and a Browning HP 9mm pistol for much of my service career.

did you read that?

So very sad that the outstanding A10 Warthog is going for be put out of service! Anyone who has been there and had the A10 save your ass will never forget that wonderful ugly old bird! The A10 would be a game changer I would love to see Ukraine get a bunch of them to use when and how they see fit.

I don’t think it would be game changer. It’s very vulnerable to man pads and AA missiles from the ground and air. In all conflicts it was used the USAF had the air superiority. That’s not the case in Ukraine

Agree, and why I said…

I know they are aware they don’t have air superiority. I’m sure there times even now they could be used. Time and situation…they can still make a big different in saving live.

Moi j’avais aussi la FNC2 et GPMG et la SMG que de plaisirs dans le temps

thinking this Trump -Putin summit is propoganda for both leaders that have ulteria motives for having this meeting , how the fuck can they have a peace summit without all warring parties presented. its outright disrespectfull to ukeraine to even publicise this puppet show , TRUMP is hoping he can get the world to accept russias land grab to justify his own future ideas of grabbing land himself ,

Does anyone need a overripe giant stupid pumpkin with bad hair to run their country down the toilet? We have a big one here who has done nothing if you want him?

It’s amazing that everyone is talking about a ā€˜peace summit for Ukraine’… and no one is talking about the 'rarely observed and poorly disguised meeting of a sleeper with his leading agent ’
