At least Hitler had a grand plan disgusting,reprehensible and so wrong as it was he at least set out with a decent war machine that had an outside chance of success.Putin on the other hand has set out on a sham false mission with a tin pot army backed up by a large gang of mercenary thugs,released prisoners and conscripts from the general public.Proper Russian warriors from past history must be turning in their graves at this ill thought out pathetic effort.Victory for Ukraine and a bullet for Putin please.
@ Dave27 I couldn’t agree more. Hitler had his own dream and dare I say it, had he won the war Europe would be a very different place today. Would it be better or worse? Historians seriously argue about that given the state of immigration alone let alone anything else and I suppose it is fair to say Russia wouldn’t be where it is today in terms of threatening the use of tactical nuclear weapons in 2023 saying ‘THIS IS NOT A BLUFF’. Nobody should be threatening anyone with Nukes. It is just insane and saber rattling these things will achieve nothing because even ‘‘IF’’ Putin uses Nukes everybody will react. He won’t because what card will he have to play after that?
I’m actually surprised how people have not reacted at the prospect of having Nukes reinstated in their country. Lukashenko is pushing the wrong buttons. There is no appetite among Belarusian’s for any escalation along with the rest of us. In the bigger long term picture I foresee regime change in Russia and Belarus. Most young people (under 30) seem to see the World differently than the dinosaurs running things with an iron fist.
Long term change is an absolute definite in Russia that’s for sure propaganda machine or not.The returning body bags,the funerals,destroyed familys for instance,that situation will not go unnoticed or be covered up for ever and sooner or later the people will want answers.I think eventually the pro-war supporters will want a definitive victory which we all know isn’t going to happen and that hopefully will bring about his downfall.

This is the moment Finlands membership became official. This is exactly what Putin didn’t want to see making his war in Ukraine even more meaningless. The complete opposite to his wishes has happened and this will continue when Sweden joins becoming the 32nd member probably sometime in May after the Turkish elections.

Out of all his military miscalculations so far bringing Nato on to his own doorstep has to be the biggest yet.
Exactly Dave. Lets go back 3 years, if you would have asked me what the chances of Finland and Sweden joining NATO were I would have said probably not in our lifetime. These two Nordic countries joining marks such a seismic shift and it reflects how serious this really is. Now we wait to see what Putin does next. Everything he has done so far has been disastrous.
In the middle video above, notice how young Russians are better in touch with reality compared to the older ones? In other words another generation or two will have to die off before real change comes from within Russia.

The interview is over an hour long but I feel it has a lot of relevance considering Trump is in the news again and hopes to run for re-election next year and why being president again would be really bad news.
