Rather funny really that it was banned back then especially when you look at what you hear on the television these days in both drama’s and comedians etc etc .
Don’t know if it’s the same in Norway but on our television programmes here in the UK almost anything seems to pass. Even the C word creeps in sometimes from time to time.

Oh yes, a lot has happened in 45 years! These days you may even see pretty steamy sex scenes in movies and on the telly here, with sucking, penetration and all that comes with it. That is as long as it’s done in an artsy manner. Funny thing that
If it’s for good or bad, who can tell? Good thing that censorship is not as strong anymore. But did we loose something along the way?

But why did he never switch to a more modern aid for breathing?
Are there more modern machines to breathe for people? IDK, just asking.
Well there are millions of people worldwide who depend on aids for breathing. As I understand these iron lungs are deprecated and no longer get used for a long time. So why he continued to use seems very strange for me.
He’s used it because he was used to it, for most of his adult life he only needed it at night as he taught himself to breathe again but he could only maintain breathing while he was awake, the only alternative he had when he considered a change was a hole in his throat but he had an horrendous experience as a c___d when they had to put an hole in his throat so decided against that
Oh that I did not know. Now makes sense. It read for me as he was in that thing 24/7
Good thing only about 1 percent of infections Poliomyelitis (polio) migrates from the gastrointestinal tract to the central nervous system causing paralysis
Thanks Crossmyway that’s how we learned about Paul Richard Alexander’s story what caused his paralysis & the mental & physical strength he possessed and how those who haven’t had the vaccine can protect themselves (Special for c___dren under 5)
It’s good to know that technology has advanced quite a bit in this area. Thanks for the info.

I am sure a black hole is even denser.
