I would love to know the story behind it as that of course is a wild animal. Surely a Grey Squirrel would not just be kept as a pet, unless of course it was taken in as an orphan or having been injured at some point.

Definitely the most colourful species of grasshopper I have ever seen.
For those wondering what it is (as I did), it appears to be the species known as Dactylotum bicolor, also known as the rainbow grasshopper, painted grasshopper or the barber pole grasshopper.
I admit I did have to look this one up as it is ornithology rather than entomology (the study of insects - not to be confused with etymology - the study of the origin of words) where my interests are mostly based.
i forgot to save the name when i came across the video, i also have a nice colourfull frog, maybe you can find out more about it?
Ah well now this one seems to have a few different names. The most frequently used one I found was ‘Purple Harlequin Toad’.
