A quick question, are potatoes peelers not common in that part of the world, I always see people using a knife to peel potatoes. So much work and so much waste.
My guess is habbit. We definitely have peelers available at stores but a lot of people just using knives because they’re used to it and don’t feel the need to change it.
even for an apple I use a knife, the peeler is boring, it looks like an epilator.

Call me lazy but I eat the peels of both those. When doing potatoes on the BBQ I also leave the peels.
Nothing different than eating baked potatoes
Though i’m lazy and do mine in the microwave, it’s quicker lol
