Never bothered one little bit, in fact, I was defending younger people today with tech and instead of the old farts criticizing it we should welcome it more into our life because the plain facts are that this is just the start of the tech revolution and suppressing it is just stupid.

I mostly agree. But definitely not when you have visitors and everyone is on their phones. Or, God forbid, in the middle of sex.
Otherwise, I use the thing myself, phones have become part of everyday life, but there should be a bit of personal etiquette. As an example, in my country, it is a huge problem a phone usage while driving. We have an incredible number of accidents because of this, many with fatalities.

In nearly all countries it’s illegal to even touch your phone when driving and so it should be.
