I wonder why one kitchencam is not horizontal?
R2D2 has a brilliant view …
Do we know yet what he is? @Amelie_Lucas ![]()
R2D2 has a brilliant view …
i think it is a bread making maschine…
I think it’s a rice cooker. I got a like from A & L when I suggested it earlier, so I’m going to assume it is. ![]()
We should start a poll on it
![]()
Regardless of what it is … it should be added to WiKi as R2D2 … their electronic pet …
![]()
Agree, it could be a bread maker, am I having doubts? ![]()
Amelie … help!!! … we are lost.
Air fryer? ![]()
Do you know what?, I’m looking at my airfryer, and it doesn’t look too dissimilar! ![]()
Here at the bottom of Africa, we call them birds ‘budgies’ … very popular to have, especially the blue ones.
but we also use the nickname ‘Budgie’ for a person that is normally small in stature, but has the gift of the gab … as we say here, some-one that can “chirp” … meaning he always has an answer or wise-crack, regardless of topic… hence the nickname Budgie…
here is a link to a song that tells the story of such a Budgie and his band … it is tongue in cheek, and reminds of a famous scene in Back to the Future …

Not only Africa as I cannot speak for all the English speaking world but we call them budgies in the UK as well. ![]()
Or Budgerigars and they are part of the parakeet family according to Wikipedia. ![]()
In Australia they call tight fitting mens undies Budgie Smugglers! ![]()
My Gran used to call them Budgeroo’s … but that sounds a bit Australian ![]()
Well here is a picture (from the directory) of ‘Chiki’, their little yellow bird…
Technically this one is not a budgerigar so perhaps @Amelie_Lucas could please remind us what species he / she is. I did look it up once but I can’t remember.
These are what we call Budgie smugglers
