This message only represents my personal opinion and doesn’t translate VHTV’s official position
With all due respect, I don’t even have much to comment on anything before “other things I suggest to improve” even from my personal point of view, since it is just ridiculously biased and I do not agree at all.
This is a voyeur site, not a circus - nobody should feel like they have to “perform” here. We’ve already said multiple times that those who came mostly for money will eventually leave because of lack of earnings from views, while those who don’t really care about cams and views and just want to share their lifestyles are respected and always welcome.
Not every viewer is a fan of “two cleanings and one cooking before a naked party”. At the end of the day, forum viewers are only a very small part of the whole community, and we don’t mind catering to different types of viewers - those who enjoy calm, real voyeur life of usual people with their routine and habits, those who want constant parties, those who only come for sex scenes, and those who actually appreciate watching social lives and learn more about different guests.
And IMO not up to you or me to decide who should be “eliminated.”
I do agree though with the idea of expanding the floor plan!
Just to clarify, you can just click anywhere on the page to close the popup =)
I can only imagine amount of miscommunication with users who have their cameras shuffled
Probably having a mark on fav cameras not putting them to the top could be acceptable option. Even now if camera number in the list doesn’t match camera URI it often causes confusion
I said that this opinion will be controversial and got misunderstood a bit wrong I think. Not you, me or anybody else should decide on that. It should be a process where VHTV together with the managers evaluates wich content is liked or not. My example were nothing else but well examples. Also the metrics I suggested to determine things like that.
But why do a popup at all? There are ways to do that without a popup
The numbers should remain the same. Just the sorting will be individually.
Thanks for this post Jabs. I agree with what you say Quality viewing experience in the apartments is far more important than the quantity of apartments. For me that means apartments where the participants are following a ‘relatively’ normal life and enjoy a good sex life with people they want to have sex with - where there is real passion, build up and anticipation. I have chatted with Ryry quite a bit about VH and a worry of hers is that she only wants to have sex with people she wants to have sex with and not just because she is on the project or streaming. She worried this was not enough to be on the Project but my take at least is that is the sex that is most exciting even if we have to wait and are sometimes disappointed. For me, the best apartments are where this happens as say with Ulbaldo and Bo and Oscar and Pearl. There used to be far more apartments like this but now we have so many apartments where people lie around nude not doing much and think of ways to pretend sex or suggest it which turns into just so much clickbate. There is also no point having people who just want to cam - the camera quality is much better on the camming sites so best just watch that there. It is also perhaps a sad point that couples who are monogamous don’t have much to offer on VH ( with some exceptions ) and here I disagree with John about the Forum. The interest in an apartment is often heightened if the participant(s) enter into dialogue on the Forum in a meaningful way - it can take you back to sharing some of the reality of their lives.
I am really just agreeing with you save I would see more apartments removed than you have suggested in order to spend the money saved on better/more cameras and on perhaps events promoting the apartments eg getting some of them together somewhere for a weekend, hosting a party for various of the participants, having a ‘stag’ or hen night etc etc.
We can all take care of that. Well, i assume so. We both know that the forum is not going anywhere, that was just my personal opinion on how to get rid of the click.bait based on what is written on the forum.
I agree with the comments by @jabbath1987 but do not believe that manager’s should be able to hide behind anonymity for the actions that take place within their realms. i am sure if named they would be happy to take praise but not criticism.
participants and guest should not have access to the forum . FULLSTOP!!! well thats my opinion not that it holds any weight here , but just for the record ive been a member of these chats for over 10 years and seen massive changes from the original template of these so called vouyeristic sites ,wether the changes have been for the better is a personal choice of those viewing the main site ,
But what i can say for a fact is.As VHTV moved away from its origin and more into a sort of scripted way of life ,this as added a knock on effect on the kind of members that join the forum , gone are the days of communication with like minded vouyers , now its more of a battle ground for frustrated (mainly) guys with no patience and understanding, the petty arguments and spaced out comments stop alot of new members from joining in the chat and to finish of this comment i will offer some simple wisdom " these participants are not our property or puppets " once you accept that ,your half way to redemption ..
Here’s my thoughts on Jabbath’s initial post, and I had an exhausting day and I am too lazy to read the whole thread, so all of this may have already been said before.
I think the idea of excluding low performing realms goes diametrically against the wish for a more diverse realm landscape, because in the long run you would end up only with realms that adhere to the winning formula. And I’m not only saying that because I’m the biggest fan here of one of these low performers. I think this would also work against minorities or special interest realms.
Also, as the realms are paid by their views, the realms with only few views really don’t take the bread of anyone else’s table, that problem lies more with the multitude of nigh-identical realms.
I do however see how a larger number of “boo👻ring” realms might make the site look bad to new potential subscribers browsing through the realms. My suggestion for that would be to rearrange the apartment list on the left side. Don’t sort them “newest first” sort them by popularity in the last week or so. Maybe give new realms a week or two at the top of the list so people can get to know them.
Because most people who want to check out what’s going on in the realms, other than their personal favorites, work through the list top to bottom. There may be banger realms at the bottom of the list that you never watch, simply because you never get to the bottom.
Apart from the low performers issue I can agree to most of the more technical suggestions. Making the whole timeline and camera menue usable in full-screen mode may be a bit complicated, how about a smaller solution? A simple left and right arrow so you can switch to the previous or next camera in the list would be hugely helpful while you’re watching people fuck.
Also, somebody from VHTV (not the managers) should assist the participants in setting up their cameras properly, and talk to them about a few dos and don’ts regarding the image quality.
Totally agree with your full comment and a lot with the quoted part. I would really like us to have an apartment rating option on the main site. Nothing about this on the forum, it is way too biased and easy to manipulate. Simply a 0 to 5 rating system, similar to any other website. That would much more show the reality
Oh, obviously only people with an active subscription should be able to give a rating. Also, the votes/ratings should be valid for a period of time, 1 month let’s say. In this way, the ratings will reflect the latest development within the apartment.
Good solution. My idea was that the menu for changing cameras appears when you move the mouse to right corner, the menu for changing apartments will appear when you move to left and the timeline if you move the mouse to the bottom.
It would be really great if that was finally done properly.
How do you suggest one would deny them access? Everybody can create a free account. Only paying customers should have access? That would defeat the whole purpose of the forum as a marketing tool.
And what should it be good for, anyway? So the Sarcasm King can badmouth them more easily?
I’ve been paying for this site consistently for many years. I can barely think of anything in the last few months that I’ve actually enjoyed or been excited about. I like average girls, spontaneous guest fun. Every realm seems to be:
Pretty girl camming with legs open.
Topless card playing (but not even guests most of the time).
The same couples having sex.
People who do nothing and only get naked to shower.
I can see that anywhere on the internet. I miss the days of Betty and Rick, Candy and Dean, Red and Herman, Ruta, Krista, Jules, Ary and George, Alan, Elon and Claudia - and i’m sure I’m missing 20 more.
This is a very simple answer: no access to the forum, no more easy ideas and feedback for circus shows. They’re simply going to need to be creative and natural with what they do. A forum with the participants present, is nothing else than pure camming.
