You must have seen

I have no idea of the basic scenery and where the motive is taken from, but it looks like some ski resort recreation center of some kind. :hugs:

Yes, these pictures may well be real. I did some research, and on the official site of NRK (Norsk rikskringkasting = Norwegian National Broadcasting) I found some more simoilar pictures there, taken this winter.

The winter in Norway was very cold this year. with temperatures down to -30-40 C, and on clear nights the sky sometimes looked spectacular. The pics above in this post are taken by a professional photographer, who also works in NRK.

The photographer went far from any light sources, and managed to capture these images. He said he had never seen anything like this before in his entire life. Neither have I, even though there can be very starry here in Norway on clear winter nights.

By the way, the pictures here are taken in Espedalen, about 65 kilometers northwest of the town of Lillehammer.

In the middle of Febuary the winter was so b___dy hard, that the scheduled route busses did in fact stand deadly still for eight - 8 consecutive days in a row without moving one metre. A qualifiable fact. :hugs: They were not able to keep the timetable correct one single time for 8 days.

Tell me about it, coldest winter in Oslo since 1985. I was lucky, since I don’t need to rely on buses to get to work. Trams and trains actually did keep up most of the time

Chaos is only a mild word to describe it.

Oh yes, guess we’ve gotten a little spoiled after lots of milder winters the past two-three decades or so

i wouldnt unless your a keen botanist . to even get a 25% yield you have to optimum conditions , not easily replicated , a greenhouse with shades and a mister is prob best option for growing these delicate orchids

Thank you for those helpful tips. As I haven’t got a greenhouse I will give them a miss.

That all depends upon whether you want the polite answer or the honest one.
