This is why women live longer than men

Yesterday’s test flight
The Launch
The launch from a distance of approximately 8 km.
and the “landing”
That’s crazy! Thanks for the videos. ![]()
But they must have installed the windows in that house with Plexiglas as a precaution. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many of them left intact today…!

The design looks like an oversized phallus…!![]()
Still, the images are spectacular.
But I think the point is to return the rocket stages to the base intact and ready for reuse, for the sake of sustainability. Because it would save a lot of money. If this could be done flawlessly, it would be a huge step forward for space travel—and return—compared to the “Space Shuttle.”
The journey to Mars with humans seems to be a dream for space researchers.
That’s why I’ve heard that in Germany, they’re conducting experiments with volunteers to see what it’s like to lie in bed for four months without getting out of bed.
I don’t think the design could really be any other way. Until someone manages to get a Borg Cube off a planet using nothing more than a gravity drive, I guess we’ll just have to make do with flying dicks ![]()
Although, the design of said dicks does vary in sophistication from manufacturer to manufacturer.
By the way: over the last few weeks, I’ve seen several reports stating that reputable scientists are convinced a trip to Mars is a one-way ticket. Their argument is that, until better technology becomes available, no one can carry enough fuel for the return journey.
And yes, I read about that “bed rest test” as well.
To penetrate into unknown depths, this form has proven itself over millennia ![]()
Yes, from today’s technical standpoint, a trip to Mars is and will remain impossible for us humans. Because it would be a one-way trip, with no chance of returning.
But I’ve read that volunteers have already come forward for it.
I also followed the last mission to the Moon, where they flew behind the Moon—which was already a huge success. And that’s why I’m sure that you and I will see another moon landing.
Whether it really benefits us ordinary people, I don’t know.
Perhaps militarily—for example, who owns the South or North Pole from a strategic standpoint?
Cute little food truck…
